b) remind u that i am huuuugely looking forward to seeing u (in just 16 days!!)

c) point out to G, whilst thanking him hugely in an awww type fashion for caring so much, that it wasn't just in her lounge or something, it was actually done at the shop fully supervised, using fresh disposable needles and all other equipment (in the shop voted best place in the city for a piercing/ tattoo for the last 5 years) by someone very experienced, it is the last step in her training to pierce people who arent going to get angry if she's a bit slow or has problems getting the ring through (like she did with me), so glad u like the thing itself :-D.

d) tell you how stressed out i'm getting about my exams, ridiculously extreme time table, exam then a week then 2 exams then a few days off then another exam. stooooopid.

e) tell u proudly with a beaming face that i just tidied my room and did 5 loads of laundry that i've been simply too busy to do. it looks beautiful :-D

I am taking three exams but two of them are taught together, and they are on the monday and thursday with the other on wednesday. So rather than being able to learn one set of notes and then the other I have to try and learn everything at once ( My kitchen is mega revision clinic tho and i have spider diagrams stuck to all the cupboards...LOSER! Having to learn all these stupid FRSs and SSAPs...thats financial reporting standards and statements of standard accounting practice for your information. Going ok but then u get SSAP 19 and FRS 19 which Graham stuck on the same cupboard so im bound to get mixed up in the exam...

So, now we're all settled in our places (i hope) and we're all getting on with our own little pockets of life... but in just 35 days our pockets will all be reunited in the great big trousers (or pants as they say over here) of life. I really can't wait to see you both, and then our philli just 5 days later. i have high hopes for the time we share but i know its gonna be awful when you go and i wont see you for 5 months, but meh im wishing u away before uve even got here!

Which brings me to my next point, really you must think of some things you want to do because after weve caught up i really dnt no what to do with you guys, and transport etc wil have to be carefully planned as we dnt have the luxury of a car... i'm also imagining the city will not be the liveliest, its not a huge student city but even when the students are here its dead so dread to see what its like duing the holidays! Emily, u wait till u see sheffield in the holidays, especially the summer... tumbleweed rolling down west. st and ecclesall road, shockig stuff!

Oh, this is as far as my plan for us has extended: 21st December: u 2 arrive, we have dinner at the caf if ur in time for dinner... if not we'll have it on the 22nd, i dnt think its amazing but thats coz i have it every day... when compared to ur average UK catering im sure itll blow you away. One of u must let me know what time ur arriving

Today i handed in my essay which i've spent the weekend writing, its 4000 words on the importance of juries... fascinating stuff im sure! I hope you two are havign as much with your assignments and exam preparation (I'm starting mine on friday, going to the library to kick start me into some proper hard core note making - the hardest part for me is starting, once ive done that i cant stop lol)

Today, when i was tryign to distract myself from work i decided to google our names, i showed up nothing - which isnt really a surprise considering ive not done the greatest deal ever. Graham you didnt come up with much either or nothing that i could figure out was you. Emily, on the other hand, someone could have serious fun and fuck with your life... i hope that stalker fella doesnt have the clever idea to google you coz its got your full lecture timetables and everything!! so u watch out young lady, note i decided not to use your surnames just incase there is a crazed stalker person reading this!

hmmm "surnames", a word they just dnt use here... they say "last name", retards! they also intelligently have no idea what half 5 is, not sure if it means half past or half to, blame the Germans for that one though i guess tho where is the German influence on Canada?? talking of the time they say such retardant thigns as quarter after and forty after as opposed to twenty to... crazy mofos that the Canadians are! today i used the word cracking to mean good which they thought was hilarious, retrospectively i dnt think i've ever used it before :S

Oooh... today Siobhans dad came up for some scholarship award thing, turns out he grew up in Penge, Penge! of all places in the world haha. he also has family in Beckenham and Keighley (which is where my parents wna move grr) So that was strange, crazy coincidence!!

Sooo... this morning there was snow, the tiniest amount tho, not even worth it, just cold - not fun!! There'll be plenty more to come tho i hope. Must fly because i changed my shift at work 2mo so i could get a good nights sleep (because ive been up till 5am the last few nights BECAUSE OF MY ESSAY!!), its been fun blogging... u 2 should try it sometime!!

Adma

Well, received a txt from Graham earlier on this evening telling me that Adam was online. Quite a thoughtful text i thought. So i hurried up what i was doing to show my face and talk to our dear one on the other side of the world...and what happened? As soon as i showed, he bloody upped and left. What a friging cheek! Most offended.

Anyway, now that's off my chest i'll move on.

5 days til I go now. Eek! I've been doing a fair bit of shopping for 'stuff'. Ya know, bed linen, kitchen utensils etc, but I just feel like there's something major i should be doing/have done by now. It did occur to me yesterday that i really should have done some reading and more thinking about what units i wanna do in my course. I've got all the options, but i need to think about what to do and where i'll be able to take it. Wouldnt wanna limit my choice for future years. I'm also not entirely sure if i even wanna be doing just straight maths still. I know, i know, i've been saying this for a while now so i suppose i really should have decided what i wanna do. But amongst all the crap they sent me not too long ago it said something about how there were new maths related courses that i could change to. Might wanna do Maths n Spanish, but that all depends on how many modules of each i'll be doing, and apparently i cant find that out til i get there. That totally sucks coz i'll have loads of other things to be thinking about too and i know i'm just gonna get stressed out. Urgh.

That was a fat paragraph!

Ending it there.
Over n out

As you all know i'm now in Canada, its alright at the minute (seeing as you asked). Yesterday i was amazingly bored but today i've seen the light and am havign a much better time! thats right, the sun is shining and theres a whole lotta love to be shared! The flight was hench amounts of long but two good films were shown, Robots and my favourite film of all time (Emily!) Moulin Rouge. As its my favourite film none of you are ever allowed to ruin it for me! (a la don't let the sun go down on me).

Having a few issues getting used to things here, yesterday i made a critical schoolboy error and ended up having crisps with my sausage and beans (and what a shitty excuse for beans they were) one would have thought that id be questioned when i asked for that! the roads are really wide and long, and drivers seem to not see the same lights as i do when it comes to crossing the road :S

Walked into town today and lunched, alone as usual, at the hard rock cafe... so much cheaper than in london! I had skins and a bbq burger along with 3 drinks for just over a tenner including a tip!

Starting uni life as i mean to go on by skipping my first (3 hour!) lecture a week today in order to go white water rafting for the weekend, oops! no doubt certain people will be unimpressed buy this (Big G)so i'd like to take this opportunity to apologise and point out that i'm going to reschedule so i don't miss out on ny valuable learning.

In about an hour i'm going to embark on a fun packed voyage to IKEA so i can kit out my uni room in the finest swedish garb, that ought to keep me entertained for an hour or two . Later tonight i might even venture out and try and make some friends, and pigs may fly!

Brings a slight tear to my eye

Well i aim to leave in just a few hours. Lots of driving this weekend. An hour to Tony's, 2 hours to Rosie's, 2 hours bk to Tony's then an hour back home. Okay so it's not actually that much driving then. Rosie lives in Wiltshire for those of you who might be interested btw. Not too sure how the weekend is gonna go. Not too worried about seeing Tony, it's his family i'm scared to meet! If anything were to happen to me, to those of you who meet the requirements: I love you. To the rest of you: thank you.

Then there's the party at Rosie's which i just dont wanna show my face at. She tells me there will be about 20 trekforce ppl there, which i feel just isnt enough to mingle and move ON, ya know? And its a joint party with her cousin and friend so there's an estimated 100 ppl. Can i be bothered to talk to random people? No to be honest. I dont feel i can cancel now coz part of me going to see Tony today was about then going on to her party together, so i cant really cancel. Neway, time to get ready.
